Rockville Centre

Hello There,  spending some time in Rockville Centre (Long Island, New York) and am in the parish of St. Agnes.  I have been coming here now for nine years – having spent two summers before that in St. Patrick’s Parish, Huntington (also in the diocese of Rockville Centre)  I’ll put on a few bits and pieces from here as we go along!  Thanks for keeping an eye on the blog!

We gathered on Sunday night in the Ramblin’ House, Edmondstown to present the proceeds of this year’s festival “Family Fun Day” to the Alzheimers Unit at St. John’s Hospital Sligo.  There was a great feeling of achievement and all were happy to be able to present cheque to some of the staff from the unit.  The funds raised (€4370) will go towards the development of a garden for the patients and providing some soft furnishings.
