A few weeks ago we celebrated First Confession in Kilmovee. I placed these chairs in front of the Altar with a table carrying a Bible and Candle between.
It was a gesture of openness and welcome, bathed in the comforting light and warmth of God’s Word. Confession, we’re told, is good for the Soul. So it is and so it’s meant to be. You’d like to think it’s not a place for fear or anxiety but a chance to meet, share what’s important and continue the journey.
Having occupied both chairs, I believe in this Sacrament.
