Fields of Athenry
Fields of Athenry

Spent a bit of time in Esker this week.  I was with priests from the diocese of Clonfert on their annual Diocesan Retreat.  The days went well, thank God and, as always, it was good to meet others and share a few ideas.  Went for a walk – just the one and a harmless enough one at that!  In the field next the Monastery there are a lot of sheep and newborn lambs.  I took this photo and I think there’s a pose being struck!!  A sort of family photo I suppose!

Safe in the shelter of each other .....
Safe in the shelter of each other …..

Will get back to a bit of writing in the next few days.  Hope all is going well  ….
