Lights, Camera, Action!

I went to Crestwood to visit with Noelle McEnerney (McLoughlin) and her family.  We also met John McDonnell (first cousin of my father) and his wife Teresa.  It was an enjoyable visit.  Doing a bit of shopping, I picked up a small and handy cam corder so have decided to experiment with a bit of video!  Where better to start than Grand Central Station?  What a lively place – much busier at times than my camera found it today – but always buzzing.  Anyway, we’ll let the camera tell its story!

And a minute or so from 42nd Street – even room for the pigeon!

  1. My names is James McDonnell, grandson of the late William McDonnell who is the brother of John McDonnell originally of Faleens, Sligo now of White Plains, NY. I was wondering if this is the same John McDonnell you met. My father is John Francis McDonnell. I write this as we have just returned from NY to celebrate John’s 90th birthday in White Plains.

    1. Yes indeed James – the same man! I’ve stayed on Concord Avenue several times. Just in from Carrick-on-Shannon now having paid my respects to Sr Maureen, R.I.P. I believe a number of the family is coming over for the funeral so hopefully will meet them on Wednesday. I was in White Plains for Cathy’s Funeral Mass as well. Vincent
